From 3 to 6 September 2026, the 37th Salon littéraire du Pays d’Aix brought together writers and readers in Fuveau, in the heart of Provence, with Armenia as the central theme of this year’s program.
Among the Armenian authors invited to the festival was Susanna Harutyunyan, whose participation offered readers an opportunity to discover one of the distinctive voices of contemporary Armenian literature and to engage with her work in translation.
The programme opened with Ces musiques venues d’ailleurs and continued with Ces lettres venues d’ailleurs, a special meeting dedicated to the invited Armenian authors. Over the weekend, Armenian writers joined around one hundred French and regional authors for literary discussions, meetings and book signings under the plane trees of Fuveau.
