Following the publication of the Spanish edition of The Time of the Flies by Armaenia Editorial, Narine Kroyan traveled to Madrid to take part in a series of events dedicated to the novel’s Spanish release.

During her visit, Kroyan was welcomed at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Spain, where she met with readers, members of the Armenian community. The event was attended by the Spanish publisher, offering an opportunity to discuss the novel, its translation, and the growing presence of contemporary Armenian literature in the Spanish-speaking world.

As part of the visit, Narine Kroyan also held a book signing session, engaging directly with readers and sharing insights into her work and creative process.

The author’s visit to Madrid was made possible thanks to the generous support of the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation, which financed the trip and contributed to the promotion of Armenian literature abroad.

The publication of The Time of the Flies in Spanish marks an important step in the international journey of the novel, introducing Narine Kroyan’s work to new readers across the Spanish-speaking world.
