IF THIS IS A WRITER: MEETING-DISCUSSION OVER ARAM PACHYAN'S LATEST BOOK

On May 29th the presentation of Aram Pachyan’s latest book If This Is A Writer was held in the frames of the annual Yerevan Book Festival.  However many questions by the readers remained unanswered and we kept on receiving messages with requests to arrange a meeting with the author.

And on June 16th, another meeting was was organized in Keerk & Co bookstore-café. In the opening speech Aram talked about the topics he touched upon in his new book such as war, pandemics, Yerevan and its fading features, etc.

Aram Pachyan also talked about the authors and books that influenced his writings and his life as a whole. Soon the Q&A format of the meeting turned into a very warm and cozy conversation between Aram Pachyan and the guests. At the end of the meeting Aram read his latest essay Exercising Oblivion.

We would like to express our gratitude to Ani Khachikyan for moderating the discussion and warming it up with her presence. And we would also like to thank Keer & Co bookstore-café for hosting us at its cozy and beautiful venue.
