During the fair, Arevik Ashkharoyan, director of ARI, met with international publishers who have already published works by Armenian authors represented by ARI, as well as with many new publishers who expressed great interest in contemporary Armenian literature. These meetings provided an inspiring opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and to open new paths for bringing Armenian voices to the world.
Anna Baghramyan, representing ARI, was actively engaged in buying translation rights for Armenian publishers, ensuring that Armenian readers will soon enjoy some of today’s most remarkable international titles.
On October 15, the Armenian National Stand hosted the Special Program for publishers from Ukraine and neighboring countries, where ARI presented the Armenian publishing scene, introducing the diversity and potential of Armenian literature to new partners and readers.
The participation of ARI at the Frankfurt Book Fair once again highlighted the growing visibility and international presence of Armenian literature, and reaffirmed the agency’s mission to build cultural bridges through books.
