ARI LITERARY AGENCY WRITERS AT BERLIN LITERATURE FESTIVAL

ARI Literary Agency writers Anoush Kocharyan and Armen of Armenia took part at Berlin Literature Festival in the frames of Black Sea Literature project which aims at establishing a dialogue in the Black Sea Region. The project was initiated by Goethe-Zentrum Eriwan. The partners of the project are Literature Initiative Georgia, ARI Literature Foundation.

On September 12th the panel discussion took place at the main festival hall, while the event on the13th two was hosted by Literarisches Colloquium Berlin, an infamous literary residency. The discussions were entitled “The East of the West”.

 The participants writers were Lavinia Braniste (Romania), Eka Kevanishvili (Georgia), Armen Ohanyan (Armenia), Ostap Slyvynski (Ukraine), Ina Valtchanova (Bulgaria), Bogdan Cosa (Romania), Archil Kikodze (Georgia), Anush Kocharyan (Armenia), Halyna Kruk (Ukraine) und Lisa Weeda (The Netherlands). 

“A dialogue should arise, literary, and especially human. To be together and talk, this is what we all need so much, on this side and the other side of the Black Sea region”, noted the curator of the project, a German writer Nino Haratishvili.
