ARI Literary Agency’s writer Susanna Harutyunyan’s latest novel Andranik’s Last Steed was published by Newmag Publishing House.

The main, yet the invisible prototype of the novel is general Andranik’s last steed, who stays in the novel and in the memory of the heroes and accompanies them throughout the story. The novel timeline covers almost a century, from 1918 to 2020. The events of the first part take place in the Sevan basin. One of the most dramatic pages of Armenian history is presented here: the murder of the Silikyan brothers in Zod and, as a revenge, the Zod operation. The second part contains the memoirs of the last prototype of the novel, Movses. A story, the core of which are the values and problems transferred from grandfathers to sons and grandsons.
